The news of the sentence to four civil guards for torturing two terrorists confirms something I often like to repeat: we live in a democratic state of law where fundamental rights are guaranteed, that the law is equal for all and that the courts act independently. The ruling proves it.
The strength of the state is shown in performances like this and when sanctions the behavior of terrorists.
