Last Friday I attended the opening of the General Archive of the Basque Government in Vitoria built. What is the connection? That brings our archive Administration documents that were distributed in the warehouse of a company specializing in the custody of documents, file Lakua and different territorial delegations.
But I must say that ultimately, I rejected the idea of \u200b\u200bcomparisons. No need to beat around the bush, or sin of pretentiousness, to highlight the importance of building these features, called to be an essential tool in streamlining the administration of the service provided to citizens, an infrastructure which combines tradition and innovation to maintain a good collection of historical funds and any documentary evidence of administrative activity.
We opened more than a large trunk, much more than a pretty concrete and glass box in which to abandon our heritage and, if necessary. Its nearly 50 miles of shelf collect part of the history of this country, hundreds of thousands of documents that will enable citizens to exercise their rights. And also the research and study, other progress that every society needs and desires.
